Camilo Jose Cela University opened its doors in the year 2000, and is the pinnacle of SEK’s educational project.
UCJC is a young, innovative university that is constantly evolving, enabling it to anticipate the needs of a changing job market.
Its schools of Communication, Education, Health, Law and Economics and Architecture and Technology offer degrees, joint degrees and postgraduate degrees with an innovative and interdisciplinary approach.
It main campus is located in Villafranca and has two Halls of Residence, and another campus located in the centre of Madrid, on Calle Ferraz.
Its campus encompasses over 140,000m2 and students can enjoy the UCJC Sports Club (tennis and padel tennis courts, indoor swimming pool, horse-riding facilities, leisure areas and restaurants, …); the MediaLab (with radio and TV studios, …); cafés; health labs; areas for practical architecture classes; mock court room and other services aimed at students.
Students take an active role in their own learning and round off their education with a bespoke 360 degree study plan that helps them develop skills and abilities focussed both on their professional career and personal development over the course of their degree.
This plan includes a tutor and mentor who advises and accompanies the student over their time at university as well as the chance to participate in voluntary work, on-the-job training, a job centre and language studies, among others.
